Lindsey Wohlgemuth is the artist behind Era Ceramics handcrafted ceramic dinnerware. Instagram is her main sales channel, but what works there isn't classic product photography. It's stories.
To build engagement, she needed potential buyers to get to know the brand — not just the finished product, but the work, patience, and craftsmanship that goes on behind the scenes.
I photographed Lindsey at work in her studio: hands, clay, glaze, the entire making process, alongside details of the finished ceramics and showroom portraits.
The posts that came out of this shoot generated strong engagement — proof that people don't just buy the product, they buy the person and the story behind it.
