Personal Branding
Images that tell your story.
Maybe you recognize yourself:
- Your face and story are part of what people are buying, but your photos still look generic.
- A single portrait only gets you so far. You need a library of images for your website, speaker profile, and press kit.
- Neutral headshots don't show how you actually work.
- When a press request comes in last-minute, you're stuck sending the least-bad option you have.
You built your business yourself, with everything you had. Your clients come to you because they want you - not some interchangeable alternative. And yet your photos often show a different version of you: outdated, posed, or simply not the one that convinces.
You know you should be posting more, but the last time you tried, all you had was a blurry selfie or an old conference photo someone else took. Being visible takes courage. You've put your courage into your business - not into telling your own story.
Together, we'll develop a visual world that shows what you stand for and how you want to be seen.

How It Works
1. Clarity Call
A first conversation - not about cameras or posing, but about where you stand visually today.
I'll give you an honest outside perspective: how do you currently come across? What do your website, your LinkedIn profile, and the photos you're using right now say about you?
Together, we'll look at where the gaps are, what's already working, and where there's room to change.
This conversation is the starting point for discovering your visual brand, step by step.
2. Preparation
First, you'll take your time filling out a brand questionnaire - with questions about your work, your target audience, your values, and the version of you that you want to show.
Then I take over: I research, scout locations, and develop ideas. By the day of the shoot, there's already a shot list, a clear thread, and a clear direction.
You won't need to figure out what to show on shoot day anymore. We already know where we're headed.
3. Alignment
Before we shoot, we talk once more. I bring you my ideas and the finished plan, and we go through everything together. What feels right? What would you like to change or add?
Then we settle the last practical details: what will you wear, where do we meet, how will the day unfold?
You go into the shoot with a clear plan and a good feeling for what to expect.
4. The Shoot
We shoot on location, with a clear plan and still enough room to respond spontaneously. Up to six hours, with time for breaks and space for multiple locations and scenes.
We're not limited to a studio. The locations are part of the story: I scout places that fit you, your work, and the visual world we're building - in the city, a beautiful office, a café, or somewhere else that says something about you.
Whether it's expressive portraits, images in your professional environment, or staged scenes with people stepping into the role of clients or colleagues, we create images that bring your brand to life.
5. Selection & Handover
The shoot doesn't end when the camera gets put down.
I present your images to you in a shared selection call and help you choose the photos that best fit you, your brand, and your different uses.
You'll then receive your finished, retouched images in a clear online gallery - ready for your website, LinkedIn, Instagram, press, and whatever comes next.
You won't just go home with new images, but with a selection where you know: these are the right images for me.
Why me
Visibility takes courage. I know, because I had to find that courage myself first.
After completing my Master's degree in photography, I worked as a photo editor, including at GEO and National Geographic. I decided which images told a story and which didn't. But the longer I sent other photographers out to capture important stories, the stronger my own desire became to step behind the camera myself.
Eventually, I had to decide whether to stay with the security of a permanent position or put my own work, my name, and my future on the line. I chose to leave my desk job and build my own business.
I started out as a documentary, editorial portrait, and still life photographer. Today, I work with entrepreneurs who put their whole selves into what they have built. That version of you is compelling, distinctive, and worth highlighting. My job is to bring it into focus.
My background as a photo editor and documentary photographer shapes the way I work. I'm interested in what makes a story feel credible - and in the moments that reveal something real about the person behind it. That same eye now helps me create images that make you feel credible without ever looking staged.
I'm not interested in the perfect portrait. I want to understand the bigger picture: how you work, what drives you, what you believe in, and how you want to be seen.
That's why I work with an editorial visual language rather than a conventional corporate one. Whether we're shooting in the studio or out in the world, I'll give you clear direction, create a relaxed atmosphere, and look for the moments that show who you really are.
The result is more than a collection of beautiful portraits. It's a versatile visual library for your website, social media, press, and everything in between - images that tell your story, feel like you, and speak to the people you actually want to reach.

I don't like being photographed. What do you do differently?
You don't need to know how to stand "the right way" in front of a camera. That's my job.
The biggest difference starts before the shoot: we prepare enough together that you don't have to figure out what to show on the day. You know the direction, we have a clear plan, and there's still enough room for you to feel like yourself rather than staged or dressed up as someone else.
On shoot day, I guide you clearly through different situations and give you concrete direction without putting you into rigid poses. We take our time, try things, and respond to what happens in the moment.
You don't have to become someone else in front of the camera. You just have to be yourself, and I'll help make sure that's what people see.
I already have a brand and mainly need new images. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely.
My main offer is the complete Personal Branding process because I believe the strongest and most lasting results come from developing the visual direction together from the beginning.
But if you already have a clear brand and a concrete idea of how you want to show up, a shoot on its own may be the right fit for you.
Let's talk in an initial call about what you actually need and what scope makes sense for you.
What's the difference between business photography and Personal Branding?
Business photography often serves a specific purpose. You need a good portrait for LinkedIn, your website, or a press request.
Personal Branding goes a step further. Instead of photographing just one portrait, we develop a whole visual world that shows who you are, how you work, and what makes your brand distinctive.
That's why we don't just photograph your face. We show you in different situations, in different places, and through different sides of your work and personality.
At the end, you don't just have one good portrait. You have a versatile image collection you can use to shape your visual presence over time.
Who is your Personal Branding photography for?
For people whose personality, perspective, or work is an important part of what they put out into the world.
You've built something that is closely connected to you. You are part of your brand, and you want to make visible what makes you and your work distinctive. Maybe you run a business, work independently, speak on stage, or make a living from your creative work.
Maybe you're repositioning your brand. Maybe you've grown and your existing images no longer reflect where you are today. Or maybe you simply want a visual world that does justice to your work and personality.
If people are meant to choose you and your work consciously, Personal Branding photography is for you.
